Riverland Awarded Rookie of the Year

Riverland Bank is proud to have been named the 2019 Rookie of the Year by the Midway Chamber of Commerce.

At Riverland Bank, we believe that community banks should benefit everyone in their local area and beyond – from small towns to big cities. That’s why after opening our newest Twin Cities Metro branch office we became a supporting member of the Midway Chamber of Commerce.

The Midway Chamber of Commerce plays an essential role in the business community. Their commitment to represent businesses and organizations that are dedicated to Building a Stronger Midway is well aligned with our mission and commitment to helping our clients grow and thrive. This year marks the Chamber’s 100 year anniversary and Riverland Bank was proud to be part of their centennial celebration and sponsor their annual gala.

Five Leadership Awards were presented at the event recognizing leading businesses, non-profits, and individuals, who go above and beyond in their support of the business, not for profit organizations and people of the Midway community through the volunteering of their time, staff, and other resources. Riverland Bank is honored to have received the Rookie of the Year award, which recognizes members for their enthusiasm and can-do attitude in their first two years as a Midway Chamber Member. The Chamber considers the rookie’s excitement to be infectious and inspiring for other members and their commitment to the Chamber.

Through our work with the Midway Chamber of Commerce and other local community organizations, Riverland Bank has been able to grow our impact exponentially. As an active member, we were the 2018 title sponsor of the annual Midway on the Fairway golf tournament and will continue to be a regular supporter of future Chamber events. Our entire team is excited for the Chamber’s next 100 years of work and our partnership as we continue to grow and build a stronger more prosperous community.
